Bishop Alvaro Corrada, SJ, Apostolic Administrator of the Dioscese of Tyler, has named Msgr. Joseph F. Strickland as his delegate.

Msgr. Strickland is former Vicar General of the Diocese and his duties as the administrator 's delegate will be much the same. He will oversee administrative duties and personnel matters in Bishop Corrada's absence.

Bishop Corrada is in Mayaguez, where he was installed as bishop on Sept. 12, but will continue to serve as apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Tyler until a new bishop is chosen.
